Its Mental Health Awareness Week from 18-24 May and the theme this year is Kindness.
Mark Rowland, Chief Executive of the Mental Health Foundation, said:
“Now more than ever, we need to re-discover kindness in our daily lives.
“We want to use Mental Health Awareness Week to celebrate the thousands of acts of kindness that are so important to our mental health. And we want to start a discussion on the kind of society we want to shape as we emerge from this pandemic.
Join our cool 2 be kind week. There are different themes & activities each day, resources & lots of ideas to help us all think about how we can be kind to ourselves & others during this difficult time.
Kindness has the potential to bring us together with benefits for everyone. It is also a vital way we can help support the millions of people who were experiencing mental health problems long before the pandemic started.
Whether it's practicing self compassion or being kind to others and clapping for carers, there are so many ways we can be kind to ourselves and others. And it feels good, to do good
