Nicole O'Callaghan, Founder of Hope Health
Nicole completed her Mental Health First Aid Training Instructor course which now allows her to provide Mental Health First Aid training to companies.
In addition to this, Nicole has had 12 years of experience working as a Director in the family business which is a nationwide facilities management company. Given a lot of the work is within the construction industry, Nicole has witnessed her own employees suffer with mental health issues brought on through long hours, stress in the workplace and part of the reason for doing the course was to be able to support the engineering team by providing first aid training.
This combined with her own first hand experience of dealing with mental health issues makes her a very credible Founder to take her training out to companies to better equip them in dealing with employee mental health.
Kirsty first found yoga in her early 20’s when she had developed an eating disorder in her early teens, which then grew worse whilst trying to pursue a successful career as a fashion model. Desperate for something to change the relationship she had with herself, it was suggested that she try a yoga class. Quite simply, Kirsty believes that yoga saved her life; not only did this beautiful practise move her body but it moved her mind too, it moved her to a much calmer, stronger and more positive and happy place.
She realised that if yoga could do this for her then surely it could do the same for others, which led her on the path to becoming a teacher.
Her own teaching style is fun, powerful and creative with an emphasis on the fun side; she encourages her students to not take themselves too seriously! She loves to translate the joy that yoga brings to her life and how it can give peace to the lives of others.
Caroline left her legal career in the city when her first daughter was born. Several years on and she is now a fully insured Reiki Practitioner in Hertford. Caroline has always been interested in alternative therapies to heal and relax the mind, body and spirit. She has used Reflexology, Hypnotherapy, Homeopathy and Reiki to aid all of her three pregnancies, family health and personal wellbeing for the last 10 years.
Reiki has helped Caroline to find balance in the chaos of family life and it is her hope that you will leave your Reiki treatment feeling recharged, rebalanced and ready to find your calm.
Caroline is now offering Distance Reiki treatments which is a technique within the system of Reiki that enables a practitioner to offer Reiki without the recipient being in the room. It is just as beneficial as a one to one treatment. As part of Reiki Level 2 training, practitioners learn and receive three symbols, one of which is the “distance symbol” which allows the practitioner to send Reiki energy across time and space.
